Care:

• Use a suede-specific moisture barrier like Nikwax or Scotchgard to help waterproof mittens
• Always test protection agents on a hidden area first to check for color changes
• Clean using non-greasy leather cleaners that preserve natural oils, and avoid anything that leaves residue
• Wipe off cleaners with a damp cloth; use brushes for stitched areas and nubuck cloths for overall refresh
• For wet leather, clean dirt or mud before drying. Never dry with heat
• Store in a cool, dry place and never in plastic to avoid mildew and bacterial growth
• If mildew appears, clean with a 1:1 rubbing alcohol and water solution, then dry completely
• Treat fresh stains with a damp cloth; use ground chalk on oil or grease stains and brush off after 24 hours
• Have deeply set or ground-in stains treated professionally
