What happens when a Moroccan couture designer and a French manufacturer of alpine and Nordic equipment are paired together? Nothing but magic! For the past ten years, designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Rossignol have been painting the slopes with brilliant eye-catching designs. The partnership between Rossignol and the designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, was founded in 2002, three years after Rossignol began working with textiles in 1999. The goal was to mesh fashionable with functional and add flair to products created by the world leader of ski equipment.

Also known as JCC, de Castelbajac is a designer known to have a penchant for bright, flamboyant designs inspired by everything from cinematography to a random pattern. His approach to skiwear is more conceptual, as he considers the snow to be like a stage, a blank canvas. His celebrity roster includes, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Dita von Teese and Daft Punk, to name a few.
